Construction is nearly completed on a new 268,000 sf facility at the the lab. The supercomputer space is to be 48,000 sf at 320 watts/sf, with 7000 tons of refrigeration. A-P was selected for our innovative next generation 2-story MEP infrastructure concepts. The project also included office space, a simulation theatre, meeting and presentation spaces.

Ackerman-Practicon developed a unique design concept for a possible future 10,000 sf data center with 300 watts/sf, four 2000 KW emergency generators, ten 750 KW UPS systems, and 2100 tons of refrigeration.

Recently completed several designs for fast-track, phased construction including a 3.2MW high-density data center. A-P developed interim and long term solutions for 320+ watts/sf conditions (operational in February 2004).
